Australia’s Lucas Herbert has qualified for The 154th Open at Royal Birkdale through the 105th New Zealand Open presented by Millbrook.
The Australian finished in second place, two shots behind the already exempt Daniel Hillier, on a 20-under-par total of 264. He was three shots clear of Kerry Mountcastle and Tomoyo Ikemura.

The 154th Open will be played at Royal Birkdale from 12-19 July 2026.
