Japan Ibaraki Golf Tour

Day 1

Arrive at Narita Airport Tokyo. Be met there by your driver who will transfer the group 100 minutes North to the picturesque Ibaraki region.

PGM Ishioka Golf Club (Once rated #1 in Japan)Ishioka

An afternoon tee time on this highly strategic course engulfed in the beauty of nature. Jack Nicklaus was so proud of his own masterpiece that he regarded PGM Ishioka Golf Club as "the best golf course I know of in Japan". Mature trees line the fairways with an A Grade clubhouse – a great way to start your Ibaraki golf tour.

After golf transfer to your 5-star Western Style hotel Mito Plaza

Day 2    Shishido Hills Country Club

Since 2017, Shishido Hills has been host to the Japan Golf Tour Championship. Featuring two courses, the East is the oldest of the two, incorporates an American-style design with Japanese-style landscaping and is considered the easier of the two. The West course has been extensively developed as a championship course and is renowned for its high standard of design and difficulty.

Day 3  Shizu Country Club

The moment you leave the clubhouse, you will see a spectacular view of the course in front of you. Japan has many cramped courses, but here this sense of openness is the biggest attraction of Shizuka Hills. The design was supervised by Tsuneyuki Nakajima. Using a flat and vast site with a maximum height difference of 7 meters as a material, we have created a wonderful course by consolidating the experience and image of reprinting the world.

Day 4  Sightseeing

Sakatsura Isozaki Shrine / Oarai Isosaki Shrine – Waling tour in the morning

Afternoon lunch before we visit Kairakuen, the 3 gardens of Japan.

The last few hours of our Ibaraki day tour is spent at the Kiuchi Sake Brewery Tour and Tasting.

Day 5  Oarai Golf Club

The course is characterized by long fairways, lined by age old tall pines and many Ocean views. Some very difficult dog- leg holes and undulating greens. The Wind from the Ocean can influence your game but with pristine fairways you will never have a bad lie.

Day 6  Taiheyo Sherwood Golf Club

The Sherwood course is blessed with great weather which gives the local flora the chance to blossom and blend into the golf course all year. Water carries and tiered greens along with true quick surfaces and consistent local bunkering a great way to finish your Ibaraki golf experience.
