After leading the Presidents Cup on foreign soil 10.5 to 7.5 going into the final day of Singles matches, the International Team fell short to US Team 17-13.
The venue was Medinah Country Club (Course #3) in Chicago, Illinois.
After a smart start on Day 1, Team US led the International Team 3-2 after five four-ball matches.
On Friday (Day 2) the International Team stunned the US with a clean sweep of the five foursome matches up for grabs. International Team led 7-3.
Saturday saw eight more matches and eight more points up for grabs, with four four-ball and four foursome matches. Team US clawed back one point over the two sessions, but the International team was poised to break a run of 10 consecutive Team US victories leading by 3 points.
However the Singles matches on the final day were dominated by the US Players, they won 9.5 to 2.5 to defeat the Internationals. It was Match 28 where Min Woo Lee made bogey and Jacob Bridgeman won that the result victory was secured. The U.S. Team improved to 14-1-1 all-time in the Presidents Cup and earned its 11th consecutive victory.

U.S. Team set the record for largest Sunday comeback in Presidents Cup history (previous mark: 2019/2 points/U.S. trailed 10-8 before winning 16-14) and the 7-point differential in Singles is the largest Singles point differential in Presidents Cup history (9.5-2.5)
