Description Royal Hobart Golf Club was formed in 1916 and has resided at Seven Mile Beach since 1963. It maintains a rich history from hosting the 1971 Australian Open won by Jack Nicklaus to being the home of the likes of Peter Toogood & Lindy Goggin. Long considered Tasmania's premier member's club, Royal Hobart is situated only 20kms from the city and 5 mins from the Hobart airport. Constructed on sandy soil with gently contoured, well conditioned fairways and greens which are protected by extensive bunkering. The grounds are in excellent condition all year round, a must play when visiting Tasmania. Bookings essential. Dress Code Applies.
